Teaching classes is more than what some may bargain for!
I would like to focus this blog on why learning about the online environment could be good for most teachers. One of the most important reasons is because teachers have a huge responsibility to develop lesson plans and activities for all types of learning styles and cultures. The more information you have the more sources you can use to create a host of learning activities.
Another specific reason is because all teachers should know how to work with some forms of technology in the classrooms. The online classroom is becoming more popular with our younger generations and as instructors we will need to learn how to incorporate high technology in the traditional classrooms. After all what would be wrong with requiring every instructor to know a little bit about the online teaching environment?
